The departure from Hurghada is about 4.30 am. It takes approximately 4 hours from Hurghada to Luxor. English speaking tour guide is provided to tour participants on the way to Luxor as well he/ she will accompany you during your sightseeing which starts with the Colossi of Memnon, then you go to Valley of the Kings where you visit three tombs. If you want to visit Tutanhamun’s tomb you have to pay extra 100LE for the ticket.
Next there is a visit at alabaster factory, we then go to Queen Hatsheput’s Temple. We cross the Nile by motorboat and we have lunch (drinks cost extra).The tour’s highlight is visiting the temple in Karnak. Karnak’s Great Temple of Amun is the largest religious building in the entire Egypt. Its construction is enormous.
The temple had been built over the centuries not only by one pharaoh but by many of them. The entire complex used to be composed of the main temple of Amun, and more temples were built around it to honor other gods. The entire temple has an area of 100 acres. The Hypostyle Hall makes the great impression- it could fit inside St. Peter’s basilica in Rome and St. Paul’s cathedral in London. This is the place where the ceremony of coronation was performed.
The return to Hurghada is scheduled at about 10.30 pm. The order of visiting can be changed.
